Job overview
South Thames College is now looking for an Employability Co-ordinator to work within our Employability Team and build on our existing external employer partnerships as well as build new ones. As Employability Co-ordinator, you’ll oversee the monitoring and organisation of work placements and employability activities for our full time study programme learners. You’ll attend external networking events and participate in parents’ evenings, open days and social functions during and outside normal hours.
This role would suit someone who can demonstrate confident and engaging interpersonal skills and who can develop pro-active relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Hardworking and flexible, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work well under pressure as well as to agreed deadlines.
Being active and experienced in generating employer links across a wide range of industries is desirable but by no means essential.
