Job overview

Barnet and Southgate College are currently recruiting an experienced and qualified trainer/assessor to be employed on a full time basis, within the work based learning unit at the college.

You will work on our Employability programmes and should have experience of delivering on three or more of the following programmes:

  • Personal Resilience
  • Employability
  • Equality and Diversity 
  • Construction
  • Functional Skills (English, Maths and ICT)

You will have a minimum level 3 teaching qualification with contemporary teaching experience, plus assessor qualifications such as A1, V1, D32, D33, D34, or the new QA qualifications TAQA and CAVA.

Experience of delivering and supporting teaching plus supporting learners who are seeking employment is essential. We are currently offering this teaching remotely; however, the successful candidate must be available to deliver training in and around London when we return to classroom delivery.

PLEASE NOTE: 

All positions are subject to a DBS check and your start date will be dependent upon receipt of satisfactory references and DBS clearance.
