Grading and Ranking
UK Program
During each semester there are 2 quarter grades and 1 end of semester examination. Each of these grades is worth one-third of the semester grade. Both semesters have this structure. Each of the 2 semester grades are worth one-half of the overall grade for the academic year. At MIC all grades are reported in letter format. Please note that GPA and student ranking are not issued unless requested by students or college admissions. Upon request, the cumulative GPA is calculated using the overall grade for each subject at the end of each academic year, with each subject equally weighted. The MIC GPA is based on a 4.0 system, with internal assessment and CIE exam results contributing 50% each.
