About The Role and You
Contract Type: Full-time, permanent, term time only
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Start Date: September 2024
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging and effective English lessons that allow every student to reach their full potential.
- Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
- Fostering a love of reading and literature through the exploration of various literacy genres and texts.
- Developing students writing skills through instruction in grammar, composition and creative writing techniques.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A specialism in English Literature, or a relevant field.
- Experience in teaching.
- The ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
