The Role
Joining our English department, you can expect to be welcomed as part of a supportive team of Teachers. Working together, you will ensure pupils across the Academy are engaged and enthused in their learning by being innovative in your teaching techniques. We’re looking for a great team player with first-class communication skills.

About Us
We are located in the seaside town of Skegness on the beautiful Lincolnshire coast. Having opened in 2010, we occupy a large site with extensive sports facilities and green space, as well new and refurbished buildings which give pupils and staff a high quality learning environment.
Led by Gary Carlile, Principal, we are proud of our vibrant, supportive and hardworking team that is committed to promoting high achievement in education, whilst ensuring that standards of behaviour and uniform are impeccable. Pupils are supported to not only achieve highly but also to ensure they are prepared for their future through a variety of enrichment opportunities.

The new Stanground Academy opened on 1 April 2012 and is one of the Greenwood Academies Trust’s Group of Academies, replacing the predecessor Stanground College. The Academy has since undergone a £24M building project and now boasts state of the art” buildings providing academic, vocational and sports facilities for pupils and staff. These include fully-equipped specialist rooms, extensive sports facilities, a dance studio, a theatre and high tech ICT equipment.
