Job overview
Are you looking for a meaningful role that offers the chance to make a positive impact on student wellbeing? We're looking for an Enrichment and Student Liaison Officer to oversee the delivery of engaging enrichment programmes across Southport College and King George V College.
Working alongside our Enrichment team, you will develop an enrichment programme that supports student learning and development outside of their main programme of study. This will require you to work closely with students and staff to gather feedback, understand the impact of enrichment, and further develop future enrichment, events and activities based on student suggestions and their specific needs.
You will be focussing on student wellbeing, promoting and running sessions and events that will be based on:
- Mental Health
- Mindfulness
- Inclusion
- Environmental sustainability
You will also become a member of the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) committee and will, therefore, link with EDI champions to support the key themes. This committee aims to support the students’ personal behaviour, development and welfare.
You will be a creative, innovative, and organised individual who is eager to enhance their own personal development, as much as their students. You will also need a driving licence and use of a car. You will exhibit excellent communication and team working skills, as well as the flexibility and willingness to work out of office hours as required. Previous experience in a similar enrichment, creative or communications-based role is desirable, but not essential.
