Salary: Support Grade 2 - £10,547.49 - £11,138.51 per annum (FTE £22,736.00 - £24,010.00 per annum)

The Prospect Trust is a leading Multi-Academy Trust in the South of England, with an aim of providing outstanding education for all learners within a family of local academies. There are currently three academies within the Trust: The Sixth Form College Farnborough, Tomlinscote School and Frimley Church of England Junior School.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Enrichment team within an outstanding Sixth Form College. We are seeking a proactive individual to provide an excellent level of support to both staff and students in the College.

The Role

The Events Administrator (CEC) is responsible for the administration of a comprehensive and varied enrichment, outreach and progression programme of activities and events for College students and other learners across our wider community. The Events Administrator will support the Events and Outreach Lead in providing an exceptional service.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following:-

  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel or Google Sheets,
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with employers;
  • Excellent customer service, customer care and interpersonal skills;
  • A positive commitment and enthusiasm for working with 16-18 year old students;
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate to both students and staff;
  • Ability to build rapport with others in order to foster positive working relationships.

The Sixth Form College Farnborough is a sixth form college located in the town of the same name, in Hampshire. Since September 2017, The College has been part of The Prospect Trust, a multi-academy trust. The College had originally been a grammar school founded in 1936, becoming a full sixth form college in 1992. The college is co-educational, with over 3900 students aged 16-19. Since its establishment as a sixth form, the college has undergone extensive redevelopment and modernisation, and as a result can boast of a wide range of high-quality teaching and recreational facilities such as a brand-new purpose-built teaching block opened in 2010 containing teaching facilities for physics, electronics and photography among others. Around a third of the students at the college are on mixed programmes of study combining A levels and vocational courses. The college offers 33 A-level courses, with the largest being in psychology and mathematics. Of the 11 vocational courses, the largest are in criminology and business.
