The Role

The Examinations Officer organises and prioritises the efficient delivery of the School’s Public examinations, iGCSE, GCSE, BTEC, and AS/A2 examinations, as well as internal examinations including national agenda assessments. Working in close partnerships with the leadership team, colleagues and examining boards ensuring an effective strategy maintaining compliance with Examination Board and School policies, procedures, and timescales. Offering assistance and support to student and family communities. 

Personal Specifications

Education: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Experience: 

• Examinations Officer role with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
• Handling English National curriculum examinations.
• Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of all regulations and regulatory matters pertaining to the successful delivery of public examinations.
• An excellent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• A committed and creative individual with excellent organisational skills. 
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with staff and students.
• Prior experience/knowledge of iSAMS would be an advantage.
