Exams are among the most important and stressful events in the life of any learner. In order to give our young people the best chance to gain the qualifications they have worked for, we need people to help conduct the exams calmly, efficiently and fairly, and to make the process one that students have confidence in. You can help?
Buxton School is looking for people to work on a part-time ad-hoc basis as exam invigilators. Duties include: supervising during exam sessions, distributing question papers and collecting completed scripts, as well as responding to the needs of candidates.
The bulk of the work occurs during December, January, May and June, with odd extra days possible at other times of year as required. There will be a training session in April at which you will get to meet the rest of the team as well as receiving induction in procedures and exam regulations.
