Hours: 37 per week – Term time only + 5 inset days + 2 weeks during school holiday period (some flexibility in hours will be required)
Ifield Community College is looking to appoint an Exams Officer to be an integral part of a team with responsibility for the efficient running of all internal and external examinations within the school, including liaising with staff, students, invigilators, award organisations and external examiners.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring examination expenditure and be able to provide advice on examination regulations. You will also be responsible for all compliance issues relating to the examination process. You will be expected to work for 2 weeks during the summer break, plus 5 inset days across the academic year. Flexible working will be required during exam season due to the late finish of some exams
We are a ‘Good’ school and we have excellent facilities in a state-of-the-art building, which is situated in a pleasant location only 30 minutes to both Croydon & Brighton, by rail or car. The school is expanding to take on additional students due to its popularity.

Ifield Community College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in West Sussex serving students from the ages of 11-18. The secondary school, situated in Crawley has approximately 1,020 students on role.
Ifield Community College was established in 1966, with a new school building opening in the centre of campus in 2005. The secondary school has a broad range of sporting faciltiies, including a fitness suite, tennis courts and a large playing field.
