MEA Central, a Prospere Learning Trust school, opened with 210 Year 7 students on September 2017 and will have four year groups and 840 students. Through high academic aspirations, an impressive culture and wide ranging extra-curricular opportunities, we develop students into articulate, active and respectful citizens, ready to go out and do good in the world.
We are seeking an Examinations Officer to manage all aspects of internal and external examinations, ensuring the highest standards are maintained and the JCQ regulations are correctly and effectively implemented. The Examinations Officer will effectively manage a range of tasks, meeting deadlines and changing priorities.
The successful applicant will be an effective team player, with strong administration skills. Work in the department is a mix of precise administrative duties that require an eye for detail and fast-paced exams organisation that needs a calm and logical mind. The post holder will support and promote equality and diversity, safeguarding and child protection awareness within the school; contribute to the development of a culture of mutual support and; share best practice within the student support and academic teams.
The designated hours will be Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 4.30pm, 35 hours per week, with 40 minutes for lunch. Hours will vary according to examinations and results events taking place and the appointee should be prepared to be flexible.
