This is a senior position, with significant levels of individual responsibility, which offers the opportunity for involvement at the heart of the School’s business in a busy, challenging and continuously changing environment. The role will suit an individual with a wide range of professional services and administrative skills who enjoys working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team.
Providing a wide range of direct administrative support to the Bursar in his capacity as Chief Operating Officer and Company Secretary, the individual will also be the principal point of contact for the Governing Council, attending and supporting all Board meetings. The nature of the role requires an individual with high emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills who is comfortable operating at both the strategic and routine day-to-day operational levels. In addition to the core roles, the Executive Assistant will also undertake specific project work, reporting directly to the School’s Executive Committee and occasionally Governors.

Headington is a leading day and boarding school for girls aged 3-18, set in a green 23-acre site located a mile from Oxford city centre.
