Qatar Foundation Pre-University Education's Special Schools & SEN (Special Education Needs) Services Department, known as S4 for short, stands as a beacon of commitment to inclusive education in Qatar. S4's mission extends beyond providing specialized education; it's about fostering an educational landscape where every learner, regardless of their abilities or challenges, is empowered to thrive.

S4 oversees a comprehensive network of specialized schools, including Awsaj Academy, Renad Academy, and Warif Academy, catering to students with diverse learning needs. Additionally, the department manages a range of vital SEN services, such as The Learning Centre, Ability Friendly Program, Gifted and Talented Hub, and a dedicated department for safeguarding and well-being.

S4's influence stretches far beyond its direct services. The department plays a pivotal role in shaping national policies and resource development for special education, collaborating closely with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) and other key stakeholders.
