Brief Job Overview:

As a Mainscale Teacher at one of our kindergartens, you will be responsible for planning and implementing an effective education program that meets the diverse needs of each child, based on the Early Learning Goals and curriculum guidelines, while using technology to enhance learning. You will also need to ensure student safety and safeguarding standards are met through supervision, space arrangement, and regular emergency drills. Additionally, it is expected that ESF teachers provide as much guidance and support to staff as needed, collaborate with colleagues, and create a stimulating learning environment. Furthermore, you will need to maintain communication with parents and comprehensive records to evaluate student progress.

General Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a Bachelor’s degree in any subject with a Postgraduate

Certificate/Diploma in Education (PGCE/PGDE) 

*iPGCE (assessment only) is not eligible for Teacher Registration status by the Hong Kong Education Bureau 

An understanding of the PYP and the key underpinnings of the curriculum frameworks is advantageous

Newly qualified teachers or teaching experience within a recognised educational institute
