EYFS Coordinator/ Classroom Teacher

TSIS is a rapidly growing school offering world-class education in vibrant Bangkok. Our student population has increased significantly and we continue growing with exciting plans in the pipeline. We are looking for an experienced leader to manage our EYFS team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching a class with the extra responsibility of Early Years and Foundation Stage Team Leader in a supportive school environment.

Classroom Teachers are responsible for the academic progress and the general pastoral care of the pupils in their class. They are expected to work collaboratively and participate fully in the school's work. The ideal candidate will:

- have a working understanding of the UK curriculum

-have leadership experience

- have a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and a collaborative 'team player' mindset

- be adaptable, flexible, personable, and a great communicator

- have a minimum of five years teaching experience in a Western/Commonwealth country

- be a native-level English speaker

- have a passion for inquiry-learning and 21st Century teaching pedagogy

*Please note these positions are NOT SUITABLE for people who ONLY hold a degree and a TEFL (or similar) English language teaching qualification. You must be a qualified Primary/Elementary teacher.

TSIS International School has been educating students since 1985 and was one of Bangkok’s first international schools. TSIS is a non-profit school governed by a charitable foundation. Since the introduction of new management in 2017, the school has gone from strength to strength. The existing TSIS Primary School campus is conveniently located in the Wongwianyai District of Bangkok. The campus is an ideal environment for children aged 2-11 years to grow and learn together. It is equipped with academic, sporting and other extracurricular facilities that outshine many other international schools in the area. In addition to spacious classrooms, facilities incorporated in the design of the four-storey building include an assembly hall, air-conditioned gymnasium and dining hall. First-time visitors to the school are impressed by its beautiful, grassed playground and swimming pools.
