EYFS Learning Support Assistant

Salary range: between 22366 and 22737

Pay details: H1 to H2 (HB for the lunchtime role) pro rata

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children, who knows how to inspire and support just at the right time. 

Harvey Road School can offer a very friendly and supportive workplace and, with an established induction programme and mentoring system in place, you will have the best possible opportunity to excel.  

You will be working in the Reception class for 22 hours per week, Monday-Wednesday 8.30am-12pm, Thursday-Friday 8.30am-12.15pm and Thursday and Friday afternoons 1.15-3.15pm. The role would ideally suit someone with Early Years classroom experience or someone who is new to Early Years but is committed to doing the best you can.

You will also be working as a Midday Supervisory Assistant for 3.75 hours per week, Monday – Wednesday 12-1.15pm.

Harvey Road Primary School is a highly oversubscribed, popular community school and admits children between the ages of 4 and 11. We are a one form entry school with 210 children on roll plus 30 children in our Nursery. The school is situated within a residential area and is very close to local woodlands.
