An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled, enthusiastic EYFS Educator to join our outstanding Nursery team working with children aged 2 to 4 years.


A little bit about us


We are a small nursery that is part of a small independent school in Windsor. The school has been running since 1936 with the Little Upton Nursery created in 2008. We value each and every member of our staff team and recognise that people can bring different ideas and suggestions all of which are equally valued. We view our team members as our extended family and most of our staff have worked with the school for many years.

·      Full-time position, ie, 45 weeks/year including school holidays, working from 8:00am–5:00pm during term-time and 7:45am-4:15pm during the holidays.

What we are looking for


The ideal candidate for this role will be a Nursery Practitioner who is keen to work with children in the early years and who loves to be creative and get messy. We are looking for someone with a positive can-do attitude and the willingness for every child in your care to succeed. We are looking for someone who has experience in a nursery with Level 1, 2, or 3 but we are happy to support someone through their qualification, as long as they are willing to work hard and who is a committed and inspiring educator.


·      Previous experience of working with children in the early years

·      Someone who is passionate about working in the early years

·      Able to work as part of a team and use your own initiative

·      Commitment to your role and being an inspiration

·      Have a fun, can do attitude

·      A willingness to meet challenges with enthusiasm and to contribute as a team member is essential

Upton House School is a independent co-educational preparatory school in Windsor, Berkshire. The school was first opened in 1936, and is located on a one acre site in the centre of Windsor. In 2008 the two-storey facility Little Upton was opened, containing pre-nursery and nursery rooms with access to an outdoor play area. There are approximately 295 students on the school roll. Upton House is denominationally Christian, and is a registered charity.
