Thank you for your interest in the role of Facilities Manager at The Milton Keynes Academy. We are seeking a flexible and pro-active individual who will work under the supervision of the Regional Facilities Manager and will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, safety and security of the Academy site and the management of site team and contractors.
The post holder will ensure that the site is well maintained and is a safe and secure environment for students, staff and visitors. They will be expected to provide development and upskilling to the wider site team, enabling, inspiring, motivating and supporting them to achieve the Academy facility plans.
Annual hours will be based on an average working week of 37 hours over 52 weeks, with 25 days annual leave. The person appointed may be expected to be available for lettings on some evenings and occasional weekends. Flexibility will be required in relation to working hours to meet the needs of the school.
MKA is based in central Milton Keynes, an area that continues to grow and thrive at a rapid rate. The Milton Keynes Academy joined Creative Education Trust in September 2018. This has enabled the school to continue its rigorous pursuit of rapid improvement for the children it teaches.
