Do you thrive in a collaborative environment and have a strong commitment to supporting those from disadvantaged backgrounds? We have an exciting opportunity at Brompton Academy for a dedicated individual to join us as a Family Liaison Officer. This role is full-time, term-time only, plus 3 days and is offered on a fixed term basis until the end of the academic year.
In this role, you will work closely under the guidance of the Vice Principal for Behaviour and Attitudes, alongside the AHT Pastoral, DDSL, Attendance Manager, and SENCO. Your mission will be to deliver personalised, whole-family support that addresses the needs of identified children and families. You will play a key role in fostering positive engagement with family members, planning and implementing strategies that improve student engagement, attendance, and academic success.
Your responsibilities will include organising and signposting pupils to appropriate support services, conducting early help assessments, and developing action plans that drive positive outcomes. You will collaborate with key partner agencies and work closely with the safeguarding team to address attendance concerns and implement tailored interventions.
We are looking for someone proactive, able to make informed decisions, and committed to maintaining high standards of practice. You will need to respect confidentiality, maintain accurate records, and seek guidance when necessary to enhance your interventions. Your role will also involve supporting young carers and ensuring that our services are responsive and effective.
If you are ready to contribute to a supportive and dynamic team, and if you are flexible and committed to meeting the needs of our students and their families, we encourage you to apply. Join us at Brompton Academy and be part of a team dedicated to making a real impact in our community.
