Bridge Academy is a two campus Alternative Provision, part of Stephenson (MK) Trust where we are committed to building a strong foundation within our workforce in order to improve the life chances of each young person within our Academies. Our age range is 11-18 and we have an embedded induction programme and Initial Teacher Training scheme, as well as development within the Trust for support staff as well as teachers. Wellbeing is a high priority for us, for staff and students alike.   

 

We currently have a vacancy for a Family Support Worker at Bridge Academy (BA) 

 

Bridge Academy  offers opportunities to understand a child’s needs and build relationships whilst also supporting them to develop strategies and skills to become life long learners and active members of their communities. 

 

We have an experienced, dedicated staff team who have expertise in working with children with SEND and SEMH difficulties. We understand the importance of children having a successful experience and we work in close partnership with other professionals and agencies to provide solution focused support, such as Stephenson Trust Therapeutic Service, CAMHS, Children’s Social Care, YOT, Family Support team and Speech and Language Team. We believe children thrive when adults work in partnership, this allows children to be at their happiest and learn more effectively. 

 

Family Support Worker 

 

As a Family Support Worker, the successful candidate will work closely with parents and carers to help overcome pupils’ barriers to learning, whether inside or outside school. This will involve maintaining regular communication, putting interventions in place, and liaising with relevant staff and professionals to ensure parents and carers are consistently engaged in pupils’ development and progress 

 

Salary: £25,663 - £ 27,411 per annum (Pay Range 3 -  FTE £29,572 - £31,586 per annum)  

Hours: 37 hours per week / 39 weeks per year (TTO)
