Durham School for Girls Doha (DSGD) is seeking to appoint a dedicated and inspirational Female Secondary Floating teacher to join our school as soon as possible. Durham is a sister school to Durham School UK and part of Durham International. As a floating teacher, you will be covering absence and also supporting in departments or with student interventions. We are looking for a strong secondary specialist with flexibility, although the ability to teach English or Maths would be an advantage.
Come and join a fully accredited BSO and QNSA school and the first All Female International HPL World Class School. We are a British School serving both the local and International community. DSGD is a member of both BSME and AOBSO.
Entering into our 6th Year, we are pushing for high standards in all areas of learning. We offer a full range of IGCSE and AS levels to our girls, with many of them entering into top universities including Virginia Commonwealth, Northwestern, Carnegie Mellon and Qatar University.

Your role will be joining the secondary department and helping to raise standards and develop a love of learning and reading for all our secondary girls. Ultimately ensuring the best results for both IGCSE and AS levels . We are a non selective school and have set high standards for our girls with both academic and pastoral expectations. With in your department, you will be expected to be an active member, supporting and developing the team with innovative planning and accurate assessment. Experience in KS 3,4 and 5 is optional. In the school. We want to develop this and create a school with a great reputation for high levels of English. We want our girls to have a passion for learning and the support to be the best they can be.
