King’s School, Bruton Foundation comprises three schools - King’s Bruton, Hazlegrove and Sunny Hill Nursery - and offers the opportunity for a continuity of outstanding education for girls and boys age 2 to 18.
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to oversee our Parent / Pupil Ledger. The successful candidate will support the Finance Bursar in providing a professional, customer-focused Finance service for King’s Bruton School and Hazlegrove Preparatory School.
Whilst prior experience in a similar role is advantageous, it is not essential as training will be provided. Working in a supportive environment, you will have a high standard of written and verbal communication, excellent numeracy and IT skills and have the ability to prioritise your own workload.
This is a full-time post, starting in March working 8:30am-5pm Monday – Friday, based at King’s School, Bruton and offers a competitive salary with benefits.

About King's Bruton
King’s Bruton is a mixed independent school with sixth form in the Somerset town of Bruton. Students attend the school from the ages of 13 to 18, with the option to board throughout their school careers. There are approximately 370 students on roll. The Somerset school operates in partnership with Hazlegrove Preparatory School, in nearby Sparkford.
King’s Bruton was founded as a boys' school in 1519, admitting girls in the late 1960s before becoming fully co-educational in 1997.
