An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Finance Assistant to support the Business Manager in ensuring the finance function in school runs smoothly and in line with financial regulations. You will join a close-knit administration team that works hard together to provide an effective and efficient support service to all stakeholders of the school.
Priory School is a “Good” Ofsted rated, diverse & multi-cultural Primary Foundation School located on the outskirts of Slough. There are approximately 650 children ranging from Nursery to Year 6. The school also has a Resource Base with 60 children for pupils with complex needs.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience of working in a busy school environment
- Understand the finance function in a school and the financial regulations that must be adhered to
- High levels of computer literacy, including excel
- Be enthusiastic, resilient, highly motivated and bring a sense of energy to the role with a positive attitude and can-do approach
- Have a good level of general education, including English and Maths at GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent.
- Have the ability to use your initiative to work independently and flexibly as part of a team
- A willingness to work with the wider administration and school teams and participate in school events as required
