Finance Partner

RAK Academy is seeking a dynamic and committed Finance Partner to join the Finance Team. This is an exciting role which will be reporting to the Finance Manager.

Job Purpose:

The Finance Partner is accountable for relevant school level account transactions . Support and advise the student's parents in school admission transactions by collaborating with the team and support the management with relevant reports and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

·      Manage all accounting transactions.

·      Process petty cash payments as per the approved petty cash policies and procedures

·      Prepare a monthly petty cash expenses summary report.

·      Submit petty cash reimbursements.

·      Processing School Fee / General invoices

·      School fees collection

·      Provide statement of accounts for students’ parents

·      Invoicing of school fees and other services

·      Perform admin assignments by Head of School

·      Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

·      Reconcile accounts receivables.

·      Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.

·      Comply to financial policies and regulations.

·      Managing records and receipts

·      Reconciling daily, monthly, and yearly transactions

·      Developing an in-depth knowledge of organizational products/services and process

·      Providing customer service to clients

·      Resolve financial concerns raised by the customer service/Admission team.

·      Supporting the Finance Manager and executives with projects and tasks when required.

The candidate must have:

·     Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting

·       Professional level proficiency in English (written and spoken)

·       Arabic is an advantage.

·       Advanced MS Projects and MS office skills

·       Microsoft Office knowledge and experience especially Excel

·       Knowledge of ERP systems

·       Must be able to work well with a wide variety of people and have excellent communication and organizational skills. The ability to multitask and organize work promptly.

Experience:

5 years’ experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
