Job overview

Are you a caring and supportive Teaching Assistant who has experience in an Early Years Foundation setting? Would you like a position where you would be able to build on that experience and work as a Floating Teaching Assistant between Reception and Year 2? If this is you, and you would like the opportunity to join a highly successful Surrey independent preparatory school based on a private estate in the leafy suburb of Kingston, we would like to hear from you.

We pride ourselves on the way in which we educate and support all our boys at Rokeby and help them to develop as individuals.  Do you have a similar vision, and wish to motivate and inspire young minds in a positive learning environment? If so, we would like you to join our team as a Floating Teaching Assistant in our Lower School from September 2023.

The role will involve you working across a range of classes, groups and years alongside the Classroom Teachers up to Year 2. You will have knowledge of a number of strategies and a high level of skills developed through experience. Come and join our team and work in friendly and positive learning environment. Outside of normal teaching hours, there will also be opportunities for you to contribute to the wrap-around care programme, helping to increase the confidence of boys and building on important life skills.
