Hours / Weeks: 36 hours per week / 39 weeks per year

Reports to: Director of Learning Catering and Technology

We are seeking to appoint an organised, flexible and supportive Food Technology Technician who can provide day to day technical support to enable the smooth running of the Food curriculum. You will be expected to assist with the preparation of materials for lessons and projects and well also set up classrooms for practical lessons. Using your previous experience and knowledge of working in a food handling environment, you will also ensure that work spaces and equipment are maintained in accordance with appropriate health and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will:

●      have good communication skills

●      be experienced in stock management/maintenance

●      have knowledge of food hygiene

●      have the ability to adapt to changing situations as they arise
