We are seeking an enthusiastic front office secretary who understands the importance of hospitality and welcome, to join our school office team.
The position is split over three areas as follows:
• Monday to Wednesday - Front Office Reception;
• Thursday - Enrolments and other general administrative duties;
• Friday - supporting the secretarial work for our Instrumental Music Program.
Ability to work under pressure and remain calm and customer focused, is a requirement of the position.

To be successful in this role you will:
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement; and
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
Estimated Start Date: Commencing January 2022
Position Tenure: Fixed Term
Weeks Worked: School term weeks only (holidays unpaid)
Tenure Duration (If Fixed Term): 2022 school year
Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required: 36.5 hours per week - required to work Monday to Friday at specified times. (29 hours at School Officer Level 2 and 7.5 hours at School Officer Level 3)
Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate: School Officer Level 2 - $28.16 per hour || School Officer Level 3 - $29.77 per hour
Employment Conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement
As from 23 January 2022 all BCE Schools will be an environment where all employees are fully COVID vaccinated as directed by the Queensland Chief Health Officer.
This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
