Al Maharat Private School in Abu Dhabi is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and qualified FS Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a stimulating and nurturing learning environment for young learners, focusing on their early development across a range of academic and personal growth areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of FS3 students, encouraging critical thinking and curiosity.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, and educational development of each student.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, offering timely feedback to students, parents, and administration.
  • Use differentiated instruction strategies to address varying learning abilities and styles.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, school leadership, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
  • Participate in professional development sessions to enhance teaching practices and stay updated with the latest curriculum developments.
  • Communicate effectively with parents to provide updates on student progress, strengths, and areas of improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, performance, and behaviours.
  • Integrate technology and modern educational tools to enrich learning experiences.
  • Promote the values of diversity, inclusion, and respect in the classroom.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a relevant field.
  • Certification: Teaching certification recognized in the UAE.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in an FS/early years setting.
  • Language Proficiency: Native-level fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for early childhood education and a deep commitment to student growth and development.
  • Familiarity with the EYFS curriculum or similar frameworks.
