We are looking to appoint an experienced teacher to work in our friendly and high achieving school. The position of Deputy Head Academic provides a great opportunity to lead the development and delivery of a first class, inclusive, modern curriculum throughout the school with the support of the Prep School Senior Management Team and a talented group of teachers. The Deputy Head Academic will provide inspirational academic and professional leadership in reviewing and developing the schools’ teaching and learning, the curriculum, assessment, tracking and monitoring of pupils, and the use of ICT.
This position is suitable for a candidate who is currently in a similar role or leading an academic department. It would suit someone considering Headship in in the future. The Deputy Head Academic will also help provide spiritual leadership as part of the Prep School Senior Management Team and be a member of the Senior Leadership Team (4-18).
