Job overview

Bertrum House Nursery is looking to appoint a motivated and passionate Early Years gap year assistant to join our team in January 2025.

We are a friendly, community focused nursery situated between Balham and Tooting Bec rated as Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted. We have a well-qualified and stable team; large, bright classrooms; a hall for activities such as dance and yoga; and a huge field for outdoor learning.

Bertrum House prides itself on nurturing young children to be confident, happy learners and we encourage applicants to visit our Instagram page to get a sense of our day to activities (@bertrumhousenursery)

The role is in our Nursery class supporting learning with children aged between 2 and 3 years old, working within a team to provide an engaging and stimulating learning environment. We are looking to recruit a gap year assistant who can work for the rest of the academic year (until Friday 4th July 2025).

The role would suit a student taking a gap year but we would also be interested to meet applicants who are considering education as future career.
