General Technician – Electrical Engineering
Location: Chesterfield
Salary: £16,095 - £16,554 per annum
(37 hours per week/52 weeks per year)
A vacancy has arisen for an Electrical Technician to provide technical support for teaching staff and students in the Directorate of Technical Learning. The successful applicant will also be expected to provide guidance to learners in the use of equipment and practical processes associated with electrical engineering.
The successful candidate will have a recognised Electrical level 2 qualification and ideally a minimum of a level 2 qualification in Maths and English. Experience of supporting Teaching and Learning in a classroom, workshop environment or workplace would be an advantage.
A flexible and responsive approach to work is essential.
