Geography Teacher with Duke of Edinburgh Responsibility
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Geographer to join our incredible department at Deptford Green. Deptford Green is a progressive school with creativity at its heart, where professional development and staff voice are core to our everyday practice. The Geography Department is well-established and resourced with an experienced and supportive team who aspire to provide pupils with a transformational learning journey. Geography is a popular choice at GCSE, pupils follow the AQA specification and have the opportunity to participate in multiple fieldwork visits. Enrichment is embedded throughout the curriculum, from immersive rainforest experiences to international trips, including Sorrento.
We are looking for a Geography Teacher who is passionate about the subject and who wants to contribute to further developing an innovative and relevant curriculum for inner-London pupils. You will also be responsible for the planning and delivery of the Duke of Edinburgh award.

We have excellent training opportunities for ECTs working alongside our in house professional tutor and experienced classroom practitioner within the department.
