King Henry VIII College, Malaysia welcomed its first students in September 2018. We are a fully-fledged sister school to Christ College, Brecon, one of the UK’s oldest schools, founded by Henry VIII in 1541.

King Henry VIII College is a co-educational boarding and day school, with students from 3 to 18 years of age.

King Henry VIII College has a modern, urban setting in Cyberjaya - a well-connected and rapidly developing planned township, mid-way between Kuala Lumpur City Centre and KL International Airport. The school has an impressive campus, with outstanding, purpose-built facilities.

Each teaching position at the school presents a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a particular interest in being part of a growing new school, as it establishes its reputation in the region. This post could also suit an NQT.

The curriculum at King Henry VIII is a recognisable British one; students sit Cambridge International IGCSE’s and AS/A levels

All teachers are expected to contribute to the school’s tutorial system, and to the general community life of KH8.

In 2016, as Christ College Brecon commemorated the 475th Anniversary of its founding, the school signed an agreement with DBH Holdings of Malaysia to set up its first international school.

King Henry VIII College is a fully-fledged sister school to Christ College Brecon, and replicates its structure, values, and ethos. Christ College was founded by King Henry VIII in 1541 by Royal Charter, and is a co-educational independent day and boarding school set in the Brecon Beacons National Park,
