Role Profile
We are seeking to appoint a Girls’ Houseparent and After School Club Leader.
Our Houseparents play a vital pastoral role, ensuring the smooth running of our boarding houses. Their primary role is to provide outstanding pastoral care; and a caring, nurturing, happy and organised boarding environment, for our boarders. The successful candidate will be required to live on site and will benefit from self-contained accommodation (one double bedroom, bathroom, open plan kitchen/dining room and living room) within the boarding house.
The After School Club Leader aspect of the role involves managing our Pre-Prep After School Club provision for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. The successful candidate will work closely with our Pre-Prep team, providing an exciting and engaging After School Club provision.

Hours of Work
This role is term time only (with a few days worked at the start and end of each term). The required hours of work are as follows.
Houseparent:
· 3 overnight boarding duties each week (spread across Monday to Friday) from 18.00 until 08.15 the next morning.
· Boarding duties every other weekend from 12.30 on Saturday until 08.15 on Monday morning.
After School Club Leader:
15.30 to 18.00 Monday to Thursday and 15.30 to 17.00 on Friday. There will also be some preparation/administration time required for the role but this can be worked flexibly.
Start Date
April 2024 ideally but we can accommodate a later start date if needed.
