Torquay Girls’ Grammar School is a girls’ 11 to 18 selective Single Academy Trust (SAT) in Torquay, Devon.

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as Governance Professional who will overseeing all aspects of governance effectiveness and compliance within our Single Academy Trust. Many of our Trustees are new to role and all bring different expertise to the Board, meaning this is a great time to join as Governance Professional.
This a permanent contract, working 5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus INSET days). The role has the option to work some hours from home, but coming into school as required e.g. for meetings. The hours will be worked flexibly as and when required.
Trustee meetings are currently on Mondays and Wednesdays 3:00pm to 5:00pm, and Thursdays 9:00am to 11:00am. There are 13 planned meetings per year.
The start date for this role is 6th January 2025.
The salary for this role is Grade H pro rata - actual annual salary £3,838-£4,154.
