Graduate Apprenticeship Opportunity to Train as a Teacher

To start: January 2025 – 2 Terms of Practical Teaching, Initial Teacher Education Training will commence September 2025. Training will lead to PGCE and QTS.

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic graduate to join Bosworth as an apprentice trainee teacher.

This is an excellent opportunity to join Bosworth Independent School, we are a relatively small school of approximately 300 students. This enables us to offer a supportive family atmosphere, where students and staff can enjoy their work and thrive as valued people and professionals. Our ethos is one that believes in the importance of the individual and celebrates success regardless of the level. Students come from a wide variety of countries and are motivated and aspirational, mostly aiming for Russell Group and Oxbridge.

We are looking for:

·    A highly motivated graduate who is passionate about education.

·    A candidate who can demonstrate the ability to plan and teach engaging lessons and enthuse our students to reach their full potential.

·    A talented individual who is highly organised and committed to working as part of a team.

This will be a fully funded qualification and provide a

salary. Training will be supported by Buckingham University and an assigned

school mentor. Graduates should have a minimum of a 2.2 and hold a UK degree.

This position is designed to allow graduates who might be considering a teaching career to experience life in a boarding school and successfully train on the job with our extensive CPD opportunities. Training will involve 14 hours of contact teaching per week as well as training sessions and weekly observations. Further details regarding the course can be obtained by contacting the school.

Bosworth Independent School has a range of different subjects on the curriculum. This includes crafts, go karting, English and tennis. The school hopes to give the best education to all the students. Teachers give care and support to every pupil when they need it the most, throughout their time at the school.
