Job overview
The main focus of the role is to create exciting visual content which helps us standout, ultimately strengthening our position as a family of leading independent girls’ schools in London. You will support the Marketing Team across all project stages from concept creation and design through to production and delivery; to develop and maintain visually engaging and compelling collateral for the schools.
You will be responsible for originating key aspects of graphic design and video assets; including internal and external marketing communications (e.g advertising, newsletters, publications, marketing and recruitment collateral, social media assets, event and display materials and merchandise). The role is varied and key aspects of its success are design, brand guardianship, photography and content management.
This role will be based primarily in the marketing office, with other Trust functions across the Francis Holland Schools.

Francis Holland Sloane Square is an independent, selective, Church of England school for girls aged 11-18 with Sixth Form situated in Belgravia. There are currently over 600 pupils on roll. The school was named Sunday Times Independent Secondary School of the Year 2023 and was named as one of the top 40 independent schools in the UK in The Sunday Times’ Parent Power rankings for 2025. It was also named national winner of the School House Mind & Mental Health Champion Award 2025 and Finalist for both Independent School of the Year for Student Wellbeing 2025 and Muddy Stilettos Best Schools’ Passionate About Sport Award 2025.
Francis Holland Sloane Square was founded in 1881 by Reverend Canon Francis Holland. Three years later, the School moved to its current site on Graham Terrace, where it has since expanded to include the RIBA award-winning Centre for Creative Learning, a Centre for Creative Enterprise, and a transformational Sixth Form Centre, the Old School House, which increased the school site’s footprint by 15% in 2021 (909sqm). In September 2024, the Junior School relocated to a beautiful new site just a 15-minute walk away down the King’s Road and became Francis Holland Preparatory School. The school is governed by the Francis Holland Schools Trust along with its sister school Francis Holland Regent’s Park and Francis Holland Preparatory School.

ISI Report
Under the new ISI Inspection framework, Francis Holland met the standards in all areas (ISI Inspection Report, October 2024).
The ISI inspectors recognised the positive and safe pupil environment at FHS and found that the school has “created a positive culture in which pupils feel safe and can thrive”. The report also highlighted that:
“Pupils’ self-awareness develops quickly, and they learn to show respect for each other and other cultures.”
“Pupils feel heard and supported.”
“The school offers a broad, engaging and forward-looking curriculum… focus on encouraging pupils’ intellectual curiosity and deep learning.”
