We are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher of Graphics with some Art teaching included. This is a temporary position for maternity cover from October 2024 for a period of approximately 12 months. Graphics is a popular subject and is taught in Year 9, at GCSE and at A Level. The candidate would ideally have experience in Graphics (or Art/Graphics) at Key Stage 3, GCSE or A Level. Graphics boasts specialist staff and modern, spacious and well-equipped facilities. Technology facilities include state-of-the-art practical, theory and IT rooms and are very well-resourced with equipment. Redborne is committed to a broad and balanced curriculum and all Technology subjects remain very popular both at Key Stage 4 and in the sixth form.
The post would be suitable for both newly qualified and experienced teachers.

Redborne is a successful school on a spacious and pleasant campus near the market town of Ampthill in Bedfordshire. We achieve excellent examination results with about three-quarters of students typically gaining Maths and English at grades 9 – 4. ‘A’ Level results are also very good with over half at ‘A*’, ‘A’ or ‘B’ grades and an overall pass rate of 99.9%. About 80% of the Sixth Form go on to university and each year a number of students get into Oxbridge. The school is well regarded, oversubscribed and situated in a very pleasant area of Central Bedfordshire, within easy reach of London. The campus includes a state-of-the-art 400 seat theatre and Sixth Form social area.
