Reporting to the Deputy Director of International Schools, the focus of this exciting new role is to oversee the transfer, adaptation, and implementation of exceptional academic standards across our growing family of schools. Working closely with the Head of Education, the Head of Academic will ensure that all our academic systems are truly world class. 

This post is in a dynamic and expanding team so duties and responsibilities may change as the King’s family of schools grows.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Middle or senior leadership experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Inclusive personality able to develop positive working relationships across the King’s community in Wimbledon and internationally
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Strong administration and planning skills
  • A high degree of personal motivation, initiative and energy
  • Teaching qualification

Desirable

  • Experience in working internationally (either through having worked overseas or other involvement)
  • A track record in leading teams who achieve outstanding academic results
