We seek to appoint a committed and enthusiastic teacher to lead our Art and Design provision. This is an opportunity for an inspiring teacher passionate about delivering excellent student educational experiences. About The Charter School Bermondsey
The Charter School Bermondsey is an Ofsted “Good” (2022), four-form entry, mixed, 11-16 free school that opened in September 2013. The school is in a new state-of-the-art building, just a stone’s throw from Bermondsey Underground, and boasts fantastic spaces for staff and students, including a well-equipped art department. Our students behave well and achieve outcomes that are above National levels. Outcomes for disadvantaged students are especially strong.
Art and Design is a popular subject at GCSE and part of the wider Visual and Performing Arts team.
We support our staff with:

· Providing a well-ordered working environment including centralised detentions so teachers can focus on teaching
