·      A proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (or equivalent) is desirable

·      A willingness to work as part of a team is essential

In return our school can offer you a welcoming and inclusive environment, with a culture of openness and transparency. We value highly the wellbeing of all our staff and offer a number of benefits to support this. You’ll also benefit from support, mentoring and development tailored to you, training linked to NPQML and NPQSL and further CPD supported by the diocese and additional local providers. Thank you for your interest in St Thomas More Catholic School.

There is very much a team ethos at St Thomas More, with a culture of openness and transparency. Colleagues are encouraged to work in a collaborative fashion, putting forward new ideas and discussing issues openly. This has contributed to significant and sustained improvements in results in recent years. This determination to succeed and improve standards and outcomes for the well being of our students was demonstrated recently as our school was recognised as ‘good’ by Ofsted. The school is popular – we are always oversubscribed beyond our admission limit – and well respected in the local community. We have a committed workforce, with the highest expectations of themselves and students. The school is fortunate to have a proactive and supportive Governing Body, with a diverse range of skills and experience.
