Hurlingham School is delighted to be able to invite applications for a Part-Time Head of Art, at Hurlingham Prep. 

The appointment will commence in September 2025. 

We are seeking a motivated and multi-skilled practitioner to join our thriving learning community and provide inspirational leadership for our well-established Art department. The successful candidate will be able to communicate a clear strategic vision for artistic development and creativity, challenging each pupil to achieve their best. They will embrace the core values of our school and be a highly qualified, experienced, dynamic, and caring teacher who is passionate about art in all its forms and at all levels.

Our vision for the school is to establish a learning community where we are viewed as “more than just a school”, where learning is at the heart for all; pupils, staff and parents. Hurlingham is an independent co-educational preparatory school for ages 4-11. Founded in 1947, the school is situated adjacent to Wandsworth Park in Putney.
