About Jersey
The Bailiwick of Jersey is a self-governing Crown Dependency, and this has implications for its education system. Schools here operate under Jersey Education Law, which differs from that of the UK.
Our schools follow the Jersey Curriculum, which is based on the English National Curriculum, but with adaptations that enable us to include the study of Jersey’s unique history, geography, and political system.
London is only 30 minutes away by air and France is a mere 14 miles to the east. Jersey is a unique place to live and work, particularly if you and your family enjoy an outdoor and community-focused lifestyle.

With around 700 students aged 11-18, the College prides itself in its pursuit of a world-class holistic education for its young men, who leave as Old Victorians to make a positive impact on society in so many fields. The values of Aspiration, Respect and Resilience permeate the College's impressive academic provision, its wide-ranging cocurricular programme, and its superb pastoral support. With a new 5 year Strategic Plan, receiving investment into a range of facilities, and with student numbers on the rise, this is undoubtedly an exciting phase in Victoria College's development.
Victoria College is an exciting place to learn and grow for its boys, a rewarding place to teach and work for its staff, and is defined by a strong sense of community, collegiality and a culture of kindness.
