We are seeking a Head of Bursary Pupil Recruitment

Marlborough College is committed to increasing the number of pupils on full Bursarial/Financial support. Funded by the recently launched Marlborough Difference Campaign, the College is working towards increasing this number to 100 free places by 2033. As part of this commitment, we recognise the need to attract children who are suited to a Marlborough education from a range of different schools and backgrounds.

The purpose of the role is to spend time liaising with schools and other organisations, guiding families through the admissions process and preparing them for a start at Marlborough College in Year 9 or Year 12.

This a new role for the College, and is offered as an initial 2 year fixed term contract with the option to extend for a an additional year. The working pattern will be an average of 37.5 hours per work over 39 weeks. The successful candidate must have a willingness to be flexible in terms of working hours to fit around the extended boarding school day and week, this may include some hours during evening/ weekends or school holidays.

The suitable candidate will work within the Admissions Department but it is expected that a proportion of their time will be spent visiting schools and families.
