The Dean Trust is seeking to appoint a talented and hard-working Head of Business Studies to join our dedicated team at Ashton on Mersey School. The core purpose of the role will have responsibility for the outcomes within Business Studies across key stage 4 and 5. They will be responsible for ensuring all pupils have access to a Business Studies curriculum that is broad, ambitious, and designed to provide pupils with access to powerful knowledge and cultural capital.
The post holder will lead a team of subject specialist teachers. They will provide leadership and support to enable them to thrive in their roles, develop professionally and effectively contribute to the school’s core purpose.
Therefore, the postholder will be responsible for ensuring that the Business faculty contributes to the school’s aspiration for all pupils to be the best they can be.
