The Ian Ramsey Church of England Academy is a popular, over-subscribed academy for 11-16 pupils in Stockton on Tees. There are approximately 1170 students on roll with a pan of 237 in each year group. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational leader to lead and manage our Music Department and Creative Arts Area, from September 2019. The successful candidate will join a team of teachers who are passionate about engaging and inspiring young people in their learning and committed to raising standards of achievement across the whole ability range.
The successful candidate will be:
• an outstanding teacher of Music in their own right
• passionate about their subject alongside teaching and learning

• able to inspire and motivate others
• committed to realising the potential of all children

Ian Ramsey Church of England Academy is a mixed, non-selective Church of England secondary school in Stockton-on-Tees, serving pupils from the age of 11-16. The Academy is situated in Fairfield and has approximately 1,180 pupils on roll.
