Job overview
We are looking for a creative, passionate and dynamic professional to join our school as Head of the Media Department (Maternity Cover); to support the leadership of this department and the delivery of the Media Studies curriculum. This department is a popular subject choice at Key Stage 4 (there are several groups in both Year 10 and Year 11) and Key Stage 5 (one group in Year 12 and one group in Year 13. This department consists of three members, including the Head of Department and one Media Technician.
As part of Seven Kings Teaching School Alliance, Wanstead is able to provide a wide variety of CPD opportunities for staff at all stages of their career, both within Wanstead and the Teaching School Alliance. The post offers an excellent opportunity for the right person to develop their career within an exciting and supportive department and school.
