Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of EYFS to lead our Early Years department in a vibrant British school in Al Ain. The successful candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and possess the leadership skills necessary to create an inspiring learning environment that fosters the growth and development of our youngest learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the EYFS team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
Develop and implement an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with the British framework.
Monitor and evaluate the progress of students, implementing strategies for improvement where necessary.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children, staff, and parents.
Collaborate with parents and the community to enhance the educational experience.
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations related to early years education.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or Primary Education.
Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in early years education.
At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably as a Head of Department or similar.
Strong understanding of the British EYFS framework and best practices in early childhood education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community.
