We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head of EYFS to join our well-established and growing school in the Middle East. The successful candidate will lead the Early Years Foundation Stage department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning in alignment with the EYFS framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the EYFS department.
- Implement and monitor EYFS curriculum and development plans.
- Lead and manage a team of early years educators, providing professional development and support.
- Foster a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for young learners.
- Engage effectively with parents, staff, and the wider school community.
- Drive continuous improvement in line with best practices and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience within an EYFS or Early Years setting.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in early childhood education.
- Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- International experience is preferred but not essential.
