Head of English Department

International Kingdom College is hiring a Head for English Department.

-         Plan, allocate, support and evaluate the work undertaken by subject teaching staff as groups, teams and individuals within department.  

-         Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of policies which promote effective professional practice and define curriculum content. 

-         Use relevant assessment information to set targets for improvement of subject across the stages.

-         Keep up to date with current educational trends, research, and government new policies.

-         Support, guide and advise teaching staff in all aspects of their work.

-         Guide teachers in preparing Curriculum Documents in their ownership.

-         Support staff to understand and deliver the distinctive, holistic ethos within which learning takes place.
